Zenith Transoceanic H-500

This is a 1951 Zenith H-500 Transoceanic portable. It's a multi- band (AM and Shortwave) receiver that was designed to operate from A/C, or battery power. It has a handle so it can be easily carried. The back of the antenna loop (in the lid) has snaps for suction cups to be attached. It is removeable and has a long lead wire. The intent was that you could stick the antenna loop on a window such as in an office building, or train. The radio works great, and is very well made.
