This is a 1946 Crosley 66TC. It's typical of the table-top sets produced following World War II. It has the AM band and a shortwave band. Crosley was a producer of inexpensive sets. This set was a total rebuild. I received it from my wife's grandfather. The chassis was repaired with all deteriorated components replaced. All the veneer has been replaced, along with the wood trim pieces. The finish is stained and finished with lacquer. The dial and dial cover was obtained from a junked parts set. It's a nice looking radio, and plays well.
